The INSTITUTO
DEL GAS ARGENTINO operates under the modern concepts of quality
management oriented to the satisfaction of the internal and external
customer, permanently searching for the improvement of the quality
of service. Some of the activities of the Quality Department are:
- To evaluate
and to supervise the quality systems used by manufacturers and
importers
- To make technical
specifications for appliances not cover by the national standards
- To dictate
training courses
- To research
and to develop new procedures and operating methods
- To accomplish
comparative studies of international standards with the objetive
of make recomendations for the amendments of national standards
- To assure
the reliability of the tests made in the Institute's laboratories,
verifying the compliance with the ISO/IEC Guide 25
- To maintain
and to update permanently the Institute's quality system, according
with the directives given by the ENARGAS
- To apply
statistical methods for quality management
- To evaluate
suppliers and outsourced test laboratories.
